I only have experience with two baby carriers:  1)  The Bjorn Synergy, which I loved until Miss Skye reached about 14 lbs. — oink, oink! — and then my back started killing me, so I bought an… 2)  Ergo to replace the Bjorn.  MUCH better on the ol’ back.
