Sh’yeah! Mike Myers Welcomes a Baby Boy Named… Spike. Yup. Spike.

Mike Myers, 47, and wife Kelly Tisdale, age significantly younger than 47, apparently were expecting to give birth to a viscous bulldog, which explains why they named their son Spike.  Either that, or they were watching Spike TV when the baby was conceived.

“He is healthy and his parents are ecstatic,” Mike’s rep tells Us Weekly of Baby Spike, who was reportedly born two weeks ago.

Baby Spike is the first child for the couple, who started dating in 2006 and were wed in a secret ceremony — so secret, in fact, even I wasn’t invited — in New York last fall.

Myers has signed on to reprise his famous role as the International Man of Mystery in Austin Powers 4. “Things are on track,” the new dad said about the latest edition of the franchise.

Congrats on the li’l bundle of joy, guys.  May he inherit his dad’s sense of humor — and not Austin Powers’ dental issues.

A humor columnist for Disney, Nickelodeon, Scary Mommy, Reductress and Redbook, she also used to be a staff writer for the soap opera, The Bold and the Beautiful, where she penned many scripts featuring prolonged heated stares and countless “Who’s the Daddy?” story lines. Candy lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two young kids and three rescue Persian cats, the latter of whom are the real brains behind this operation (so send all complaints to them).
