Will Ferrell Welcomes Third Son, Future Rocker

Will Ferrell had quite a weekend:  Hours after performing “Free Bird” on the final Tonight Show with Conan O’Brien, he and wife Viveca Paulin welcomed their third son on Saturday morning.

Name:  Axel Ferrell.  Axel joins big brothers Magnus, 5 ½, and Mattias, 3.  With their names, they are inevitably going to start a rock band.  There’s no sense in fighting it.

Will, 42, and Viveca, 40 -– who met in an acting class 15 years ago and got hitched in 2000 -– announced the pregnancy in September.

I cannot write about Will without noting that, thanks to his performance in “Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,” I will forever pronounce San Diego, San Dee-AH-go.

Congrats, guys!  You stay classy, The Family Ferrell.
