‘Jon & Kate Plus 8’ Plus One = Giddy Tabloids

Once again, I’ve gotten sucked into this silly Gosselin family drama!  Damn you, Jon Gosselin and your new lady child, er… I mean, friend!

While the tabloid media has been pummeling reality “star” Kate Gosselin for her “controlling” ways and Cockatoo-inspired hairstyle, her estranged hubby Jon Gosselin, 32, has been gettin’ busy with the 22-year-old daughter of the plastic surgeon who performed Kate’s tummy tuck in 2006.  D’oh!

Yessir, just weeks after splitting from his wife of 10 years, Jon turned up in St. Tropez hand-in-hand with Hailey Glassman, who also has a lovely rap sheet for marijuana possession.  The lovebirds spent the weekend along the French Riviera — while his eight kids stayed with Kate at the family’s Pennsylvania home — so Jon could finalize a deal to design his own line of children’s clothing with Ed Hardy, a designer he often wore on “Jon & Kate Plus 8.”  And this is a shocker:  Jon’s kids will model his designs in ads for the line.

Hailey will also have a hand in creating the fashions.  Which makes sense.  Given she is almost as close in age to Jon’s oldest children as she is to Jon, she’s obviously more in touch with the market than he.

And if this co-designing career doesn’t work out for Hailey, she always has a promising career as a, um, plant inspector:
