Alicia Silverstone Bares Bear Blu

Bear Blu, Bear Blu… How Beautiful Are You?

Introducing Alicia Silverstone’s seven-week-old son, who is indeed quite beautiful and whose name brings out the Poor Man’s Dr. Seuss in me. The 34-year-old actress and rocker husband Christopher Jarecki welcomed their boy in L.A. on May 5.  Bear Blu — who can “thank” his grandmother for suggesting his, um, quirky name — weighed in at 7 pounds, 15 ounces, and “had crazy amounts of hair when he came out,” Alicia tells Us Weekly.  “He’s really calm.”

Alicia also admits she went into full-on nesting mode after Bear Blu, Bear Blu Made a Poo made his grand entrance. “I didn’t leave the house at all for six weeks after his birth,” Alicia reveals. “I wanted to soak in every moment of his scrumptiousness.”

Let’s stay in the house, Bear Blu — while you are still new!
