Katie Holmes Addresses the Suri Footwear Scandal

It was the toddler fashion scandal that rocked the parenting world: How could Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise allow three-year-old Suri to wear — GASP! — shoes with heels? Don’t they realize that such footwear could be detrimental to her physical development? Also, doesn’t Suri realize that over-the-knee boots are much more on-trend than kitten heels this season?
Finally, Katie has commented on this pressing matter:
“Like every little girl, she loves my high heels. . . They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids,” she tells Access Hollywood. “I found them for her and she loves them.”
There you have it. Don’t be surprised if Santa DOES leave a pair of thigh-high boots under the tree for Suri this year. Suri’s a trendy gal — and if Suri wants it, Suri gets it!
