Amy Adams Has a Baby on the Way

Amy Adams, 35, who once occupied the same space in my mind as Isla Fisher, and fiancé Darren Legallo are expecting their own little bundle of joy, reports People.

The couple, who have been together seven years (or 49 in Hollywood years), met in acting class in 2001 and became engaged last year.

I think Amy is sort of adorable and a charming actress, even if she DID have to deliver one of the most cringe-worthy lines in movie history while longingly stroking Patrick Dempsey’s chest hair in Enchanted:  “I’m… just… fit as a fiddle.”

OH!  Why did they have to put that awful line in an otherwise delightful film?

I digress.  As usual.  Congrats to the expectant parents!
