(I also discovered the "MIL offers to fly 1000 miles to take care of her son properly because his wife is not doing a good enough job" thing at the same time, which should have sent up HUGE warning flags to me.) Now that we have children, however, I use the "I already have two babies to take care of" line when darling hubby is sick. Regardless, I feel for you Candy. It's true that there's no one to take care of YOU when you're sick. I hope you feel better soon! As a mother of four I have figured out how to never get sick, I hope you get well soon.
