Babe’s Anatomy (*GONG*): Ellen Pompeo Has Baby Girl

Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo, 39, and husband Chris Ivery, 40, have welcomed a daughter, reports People.

The tabloids were, um, really on top of this story — the baby was born more than a week ago, on Sept. 15, in Los Angeles.

Thankfully, there is nary a “Mc” to be found in the baby’s name, which is Stella Luna Pompeo Ivery.  Sadly, however, the girl will have a tough time capitalizing on her name, as “Stella Luna” is already the name of a shoe collection, restaurant and book.

And, really, isn’t that what matters when choosing a baby name?  Being able to parlay it into cash a brand?  I mean, clearly that’s what my parents had in mind with “Candy Kirby” –
