Some Parents Think New Breastfeeding Doll Really Sucks
A new toy from a Spanish toymaker is creating quite a stir among parents missing the good ol’ days of boring, do-nothing Raggedy Ann dolls…
Introducing Bebe Gloton, a hungry doll that mimics breastfeeding. To nurse Miss Bebe, your child slips on a halter top that has sunflowers over the nipple area. Which, in the adult world, would be called “pasties.” When the doll is lifted toward the sunflowers, the doll makes a suckling motion and sound, and must be burped before it can fall back to sleep.
Many breastfeeding advocates are thrilled by the product; they argue that children are encouraged to mimic bottle feeding a baby, so why shouldn’t they be encouraged to breastfeed a baby? Meanwhile some parents, concerned that a breastfeeding doll is too much too soon, are less than thrilled with the product.
Hey, if we’re going to give kids a breastfeeding doll, it might as well poop after every feeding as well. Screw carrying around a hard-boiled egg — constant dirty diapers are the best form of birth control!

I agree fully Candy! If parents don’t want their children to have well children prior to marriage give them the real thing or as close to it as possible! Im 22 & have 1 niece & 5 nephews….think i want children? NO WAY! Too many diapers & too much work. I love them but if I had to care for them 24/7 I’d go mad!
