John Edwards’ Ex-Lovah Rielle Hunter Pursuing Paternity Test

Hell hath no fury like a baby mama scorned…

In what continues to play out like a soap opera, John Edwards’ ex-lover Rielle Hunter has decided to forge ahead with a paternity test, reportedly because she’s pissed about being portrayed as a “stalker” in Elizabeth Edwards’ book and media tour.

Also, if she gets some child care support from Edwards, she may finally be able to do something about that hair of hers.

She had previously refused to allow DNA testing on baby Frances, born in February 2008.  Edwards, even after admitting the affair, insisted he wasn’t the father.

Her friends say she was laying low in hopes they still had a future together and to protect the philandering presidential hopeful from further ruin.   (Good luck with that one.)  Now, however, on the eve of Elizabeth’s appearance on “Oprah” to plug her new book, the National Enquirer reports that Hunter has changed her mind.

“Now she can see there’s never going to be a future with John, and she feels he’s lied about his promise to keep Elizabeth from trashing her in the book,” an “insider” claims.

A politician who — GASP! — LIES…?!  Whowouldathunkit?
