Today’s Pearl of Wisdom for a “Healthy Pregnancy Diet”

From the March of Dimes Web site:

“Never eat nonfood items like clay, paraffin wax or coffee grounds while pregnant.  Eating these things can cause problems for you and your baby.”

Damn! There goes the terra cotta casserole and chunky candle stew I was going to make for dinner.

    Yeah, lay off the clay and paraffin wax while you’re pregnant. You can get back to it after the baby’s born.
